A vacancy has opened up for a mobile Car Park Patroller/Cash collector to work with our team in the Preston/Wigan area. You will be working for our growing Commercial Parking Services Division, assisting and working within our Network Rail contract.
Are you the right person for this role?
As a mobile cash collector, you will be responsible for the safe collection of all monies from the Preston sites returning it to be counted at the Wigan site. You will also be responsible for basic maintenance on payment machines. Full training will be given!
What you'll do:
- You will make sure that a full audit trail is maintained
- Ensure the smooth running of the Cash Collection function
- Make sure company property is protected
- To safe guard cash boxes and keys for the day’s collection
- To remove cash boxes and audit tickets from parking equipment machines in according to the correct procedures
- To work with the cash collection team to ensure the safe collection of cash on routes proscribed
- To carry out the duties of your role with due regard to the Company’s equal opportunities policy
What you'll bring:
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Experience of working within a customer facing role.
- Strong ability to communicate in a caring manner
- Good working knowledge of P&D machinery (desirable)
- Both reliable and flexible
- Ability to write simple reports
