The focus of the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Manager to join our team working in the West of
Ireland , managing contracts in locations such as Galway city, Limerick, Ennis, Athlone. The holder of
this position will be ultimately responsible for managing existing contracts to ensure performance and
KPI’s are in line with business and client expectations.
You will help and encourage the team to achieve financial results and consistently perform exceptional
customer service and exceed KPI standards.
Client-focused management and outstanding customer service are key to succeeding in this role.
What you'll do
- Understand and manage all aspects of the contract and be the first point of contact between the
business and the client.
- Client Management, As the first point of contact with the client you will be required to be flexible
and build a working relationship through clear, honest and open communication.
- Team Management, Leading, motivating and developing team members to achieve all goals and
targets.
- KPI Management, work with on-site Supervisors to ensure that we are meeting our obligations
under the contract.
- Monitor and control all aspects of personnel management, including recruitment and selection,
performance management, and ongoing learning and development.
- Work with Supervisors to effectively manage a team of on the ground Parking Attendants and a
mobile fleet of operators working across the West of Ireland ensuring the achievement of KPIs
and client service deliverables.
- Use of system to analyse data, patterns and trends to ensure efficient operational management
of the vehicle fleet and team
- Reports: provide the business and clients scheduled reports as agreed as well as ad-hoc reports as
requested.
- Client Meetings: attend and contribute to client meetings. Communicate with the site supervisor
any changes to the roster or working conditions agreed during the meetings.
- Budget Management, Control of contract budgets ensuring that contracts are effectively managed
(operational and financial)
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency within the organisation.
- Identify opportunities to maximise revenue, reduce costs, and/or improve operating procedures.
- Maintain and update company systems with up-to-date contact and activity details
- Manage payroll and financial systems.
- Develop and present status reports, for example staff attendance, H&S Reports, KPI Reports etc.
- Actively work to expand contracts and add additional revenue streams to existing contracts.
- Contribute to corporate initiatives as required.
What you'll bring
- Experience in Contract Management in a B2B Service or Facilities business
- Proven multi-disciplinary experience in operational, contract, commercial, and project
management.
- Management exposure in a client facing role - minimum of 3+ years of multi-site contract
management experience, whilst managing a large team of people.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in building relationships with clients
- Flexibility and ability to travel sites across the West of Ireland when required,
- Must be fully computer literate, with good keyboard skills, and possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook,
- Excellent attention to detail, planning and strong organisational skills
- Able to plan and prioritise workload ensuring tight deadlines are met at all times across a range of
tasks,
- Experience of brief taking, proposal preparation, client meetings and presentations
- Experience of working in a similar role within the service or business to business sectors
- Self-motivated, confident and proactive. Needs to hit the ground running
- Proven ability to meet or exceed performance targets.
