About The Role
To support the Car Park Supervisor in implementing, enforcing and maintaining the Car Park Contract to comply with the agreement between APCOA Parking Services and Client requirements. You will resolve customer concerns, patrols car parks, deter crime and implement traffic control measures. You will also liaise and assist with taxi drivers at the station.
What you’ll do
Implements traffic control measures within the car parks and the taxi holding and drop off areas as defined in the site map
Provide a high standard of customer service to all car park users / customers and resolves customer concerns in a timely and efficient manner
Ensure all taxis have the correct permits
Minimise congestion at the Taxi Rank and drop off area
Be visible in the car parks and the point of contact for customer queries and/or concerns
Be actively visible in the Taxi holding area and the Taxi Pick-up/Drop-off area.
Undertake foot patrols of the car park.
Assist customers in distress or in need of other assistance.
Monitor activity on the car park and to deter any criminal activity.
Maintain good relations with all customers and internal and external stakeholders
Ensure procedures for issuing tickets and collecting cash, by others, is adhered to.
Monitor traffic flow to ensure the smooth running of the taxi rank operation, ensuring all taxi drivers have valid permits to operate.
Ensure permitted Taxis adhere to the Taxi Rank terms and conditions of use.
Be a Host and primary point of contact whilst assisting customers / passengers who may require assistance
Ensure procedures for handling and banking cash is adhered to.
Maintain compliance with company policies on Health & Safety.
Follows up on recommended adjustments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Report identified criminal activity in accordance with company procedures.
Complete relevant documentation as appropriate.
Operate and clean parking control equipment as appropriate.
Regulate entry and exit of vehicles to and from car park.
Monitor the appearance of the designated car park, taking action to ensure that Company standards are achieved and maintained
Report evidence of substance abuse.
Ensure Parking Enforcement is correctly reported and recorded.
Ensure all faults are reported and recorded following the correct procedure.
Carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by the Supervisor/Manager or other APCOA senior representative.
 
What you'll bring

Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
Excellent customer service skills with a minimum of 2 years’ experience
Full Clean Driving Licence
