Traffic Controller – Parking Enforcement & Clamping

We are currently recruiting Traffic Controllers across the Dublin region for a professional parking enforcement operation across Dublin.
This is a varied frontline role combining parking enforcement, issuing Fixed Charge Notices and vehicle clamping duties. You will patrol designated areas, identify parking violations and carry out enforcement action in accordance with the Road Traffic Acts, traffic byelaws and established procedures. The role requires professionalism, good judgement and confidence when dealing with members of the public.
As a Traffic Controller, you will:
- Patrol designated streets and areas and monitor parking compliance.
- Carry out parking enforcement in accordance with the Road Traffic Acts and relevant byelaws.
- Issue Fixed Charge Notices where appropriate.
- Identify vehicles subject to clamping and carry out vehicle immobilisation in accordance with approved procedures.
- Remove clamps when the appropriate release requirements have been met.
- Record enforcement activity using handheld technology and capture photographic evidence.
- Explain parking restrictions, enforcement decisions, fines and clamping/release procedures to motorists.
- Deal professionally and respectfully with members of the public, including challenging situations.
- Report incidents, disputes and unusual circumstances to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records and follow all company policies and procedures, particularly Health & Safety.
- Maintain high standards of integrity, professionalism and customer service at all times.

Who We're Looking For
We are looking for candidates who are reliable, professional, self-motivated and confident dealing with the public. Previous experience in customer service, parking enforcement, security, transport, retail supervision or other public-facing roles would be an advantage.
Applicants should have:
- Strong customer service experience with a focus on quality.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good planning and organisational ability.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- The ability to multitask and follow procedures accurately.
- The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Basic smartphone or handheld-device experience.
- A full, clean driving licence with a minimum of five years' driving experience.
- Flexibility to work a shift pattern.
- A willingness to work outdoors and carry out both fines and clamping duties.
Training & Working Hours
Two weeks' full training will be provided, including training on parking enforcement, clamping procedures, equipment and operational requirements. Previous clamping experience is not required.
Hours: Monday to Sunday – 10-hour shifts on a 4-on, 4-off rota.
The role is primarily field-based and involves working outdoors across designated areas of Dublin City.
