About The Role
Roles are available in Cheltenham and Gloucester.  You will be working as part of a strong and friendly team of experienced Civil Enforcement Officers, ensuring that parking restrictions are adhered to so that our contractual requirements are met and maintained.
What you’ll do

You will patrol public streets and local council car parks to make sure that regulations are being followed
Record and issue Penalty Charge Notices
Check parking meters and car park equipment and report damage or faults, checking that car parks are clean and tidy
You will report defective signs and road markings, identifying and reporting any abandoned vehicles
Explain regulations to motorists and advise them about parking facilities
You’ll check tickets and attend to minor machine faults
Work alongside police community support officers to Report incidents, crimes or anti-social behaviour
Attend court or tribunal if a parking ticket is being disputed
Use equipment such as: Hand-held computers, Two-way radios, mobile phones, cameras to record vehicles that are breaking parking regulations

What you'll bring

Customer service experience
Full UK driving license- Desirable
Strong communication skills
Literate with good written and spoken English
Ability to work both unsupervised and as part of a team
Smart appearance
The successful candidate must be happy to work outdoors
Previous parking experience highly desirable

42.5 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (including evenings and weekends)
