About The Role

Working as a Parking Patrol Officer you will resolve customer’sconcerns, provide security patrols in the car parks, deter crime andimplement traffic control measures whilst maintaining the prescribedstandards of quality, cleanliness and safety within the designatedareas.

Working out of Guildford station car park, aspart of a small team to ensure all internal and external KPIs are met.Supporting the Supervisor/ Area Manager in delivering the company objectives.Need to be customer friendly, operationally strong, organised,reactive/flexible and very H&S conscious

What you’ll do

What you'll do

Undertake foot patrols of the car park assisting customers in distress or in need of other assistance

Work with both Internal and External clients including the APCOAParking off Street Team and the Network Rail Contract Team, externalcontractors and customers

Work with all Clients with Parking Agreements (Network Rail &Train Operating Companies) and the Local Police Forces – with specificreference to the British Transport Police

Ensure Parking Enforcement is correctly reported and recorded

Ensure all faults are reported and recorded following the correct procedure

Calculate and collect charges, reconcile takings and assist the Area Supervisor/Manager with cash collection and counting.

Monitor activity in the car park to deter any criminal activity

Conduct security patrols in line with Client instructions ensuring that they are recorded upon completion

Operate and clean parking control equipment as appropriate

Collect and remove waste and refuse in accordance with company procedures

What you'll bring

SIA Licence ESSENTIAL

A self-motivated and pro-active nature

Approachable and able to work as a part of a team

Ability to prioritise and problem solve

Excellent Customer service skills

Knowledge of parking industry and processes preferred but not essential
