20,360 - £23,800 per annum
About The Role

What you’ll do
Enforce all on-street permitted parking regulations in all controlled zones, in accordance with the Traffic Management Act 2004
Issue Penalty Charge Notices (PCN’s) using a computer terminal to vehicles found to be in contravention of the parking regulations
Authorise the removal of vehicles in accordance with policy using the computer terminal / voice radio (VR) Where applicable
Record, report and take appropriate action on any defects found in street furniture, including signs and road markings, or any suspect vehicles in accordance with local procedure
Attend when necessary adjudication hearings to give supporting information in connection with contested PCN’s
Ensure you are logged in your computer terminal and correct text is inserted
Represent the Company and the Council by promoting good public relations, providing advice and information concerning parking related matters, whenever asked, in a courteous manner
Use your radio and computer terminal equipment in a proper manner in accordance with procedures and safeguard same from damage and misuse
To ensure you present yourself for your work shift, on time in full uniform which will be clean and free from creases
Ensure copies of all PCN or Warning Notice tickets are printed and handed in with all necessary paperwork at the end of each shift or working day
Ensure beat patterns, if used, are followed as instructed by Line Managers
Ensure any difficulties or problems occurring during the course of a normal working day are reported to your Line Manager and to log all such reports in Incident Report if necessary
Carry out the duties of the post with due regard to the Company’s equal opportunities policy
Be flexible – carry out any other duties as and when required by the management
Undertake additional duties as required, commensurate with the level of the job
Adhere to Company vehicle / moped policy

Resilience – as you could be walking quite long distances on patrol
Full Manual UK Driving Licence- Desirable
CBT Moped Licence - Desirable

What we’ll offer you
£22,360 per annum and up to £23,800 (After successful completion of probation period and meeting the bonus criteria)
