About The Role
To provide security and car park patrolling provision to our clients NHS Trust Hospital. The candidate will patrol the hospital site ensuring the safety and security of the site and its users, at the same time having an active role in the efficient running of the car park facilities, whilst delivering continuous improvement in all these areas.
What you’ll do
Meet and exceed where ever possible the safety, security and service of the Security Team, our client and property.
Regularly patrol and physically check all areas of the site internal and external ensuring that all areas are secured as per site instructions using patrol logging system.
Check specifically identified rooms and all areas for fire or fire hazards.
Undertake whenever tasked, checks and searches of individuals or vehicles entering or leaving the site.
Conduct Revenue Transfers in line with APCOA SOP’s
Ensure that vehicle users conform to the clients laid down traffic regulations (Inc car parks), and enforce Parking Enforcement Notice scheme where non- conformity occurs.
Record and Maintain all books and records assigned to your site.
Implement Fire regulations/equipment/alarms and emergency procedures as required in accordance with Site instructions.
Deal with enquiries from clients, representatives or visitors.
Report any incidents(break-in/vandalism/theft) to the Team Manager and or the appropriate emergency Services.
Assist the Duty Manager with tasks or problems within the car parks or traffic management as requested.
Comply at all times with, Company Policies and Procedures and the Health and Safety Laws.

What you'll bring
A current SIA Guarding Licence and preferably a current SIA CCTV Licence
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements
Excellent customer service skills
Be able to work in a fast paced but sensitive environment
What we’ll offer you
£20,000 per annum
Full time- 40 hours per week
