Client Account Manager - Tesco Contract (Uxbridge and Hertfordshire)

About The Role
As the principal contact with Tesco, you will be responsible for leading, developing and managing the Tesco contract to ensure the commercial expectations of the contract are achieved and future commercial and service provision opportunities are maximised.
What you’ll do
Develop and maintain a full understanding of Tesco’s vision and aspirations and ensure APCOA are positioned to realise new opportunities to assist our client realise their vision.
Seek-out and realise opportunities to improve the customer car parking journey, including but not limited introducing a new parking system, managing parking compliance of customers, contractors and staff, new product design and development and car park development plans.
Find, source, negotiate, implement and manage and / all third party parking concession agreements to increase the Tesco’s parking offer to its customers.
Work with IT to ensure we provide a robust registration platform and ensure all faults are reported and fixed in a timely manner
To establish and maintain strong client relationships at all levels through regular close account management including face to face meetings and telephone and email contact
To work with 3rd parties and the client to deliver innovative marketing campaigns that deliver return on investment.
Resolve all operational and commercial problems within the scope of the contract and prepare responses within established timeframes to all service complaints and contractual issues raised.
Generate client reports, including SLA performance audit and assessment.
Develop creative and innovative operational proposals which extend the scope of APCOA’s services with the client and/or improve the efficiency of APCOA’s current service standard.
Develop, complete and present the contract’s budget.

What you’ll bring
At least two years account/contract management experience in a commercial/revenue risk contract, with proven account management skills and experience
Experience of managing a contract(s) in a SLA/KPI environment
Strong leadership and people management skills; able to challenge, coach, motivate and train staff to produce positive results and able to positively influence colleagues and clients.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at individual, team and group level and equally comfortable and effective in communicating with front line staff, managers, directors, clients and members of the public
A proven self-starter with excellent problem solving skills and a focus upon continuous improvement, both personally and to the benefit of the client and APCOA and can effectively operate with the minimum of supervision and direction
Able to work under pressure, with a confident and resilient nature when dealing with contractual issues
Able to produce informative and concise reports and make effective oral and written presentations
