The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Cleaner/Car Park Attendant based at King William House, Hull.
The position requires someone with fantastic customer service skills and personality to develop strong relationships with onsite and support staff for the site. The ability to work on your own while also working as part of a team and a positive attitude even on rainy days. The position involves monitoring designated car parks for issues relating to customer parking, Health & Safety risks and general operations of the company.

This is a part time role for 24 hours per week on a Saturday and Sunday.

What you'll do:

  • You will be issuing parking charge notices in designated car parks in accordance with the appropriate legislation. While enforcing these sites you will also be providing parking related guidance to the public in accordance with the clients parking policies.
  • Record and report incidents and health & safety risks.
  • Regular cleaning & maintenance of the Car Park will be required.
  • Undertake full site patrols at each site to enforce and advise on any parking restrictions.
  • To liaise with the Operations Manager.
  • Manage potentially difficult situations with members of the public.
  • To assist with any office duties if/when required.
What you'll bring
  • Strong ability to communicate with customers during difficult and demanding circumstances, good time management and organisational skills.
  •  Knowledge of good customer services and the use of electronic devices such as phones and cameras.
  • Ability to work productively under high pressure maintaining balanced emotions and a positive outlook.
  • Must be able to work in an outdoor environment.
